HINOMARU WHISKY Signature 1823 commemorates 200 years of sake brewing by Kiuchi Sake Brewery. Driven by a passion to expand from local traditions to a global audience, the whisky's malt is partially grown at Yasato Distillery and fully distilled there.
Using some of the barley malt grown in Hitachino, only malt liquor distilled 100% at Kiuchi Shuzo's Yasato Distillery is aged and blended in bourbon barrels, rum barrels, and sherry barrels.
